Ardee Civil partnered closely with the West Region Delivery Team and Ace Civil to deliver a high quality, innovative solution for Sydney Water. Through
meticulous planning and fostering an open safety culture, the project team successfully implemented sustainable solutions despite complex site conditions.

Strict quality assurance processes were maintained throughout to consistently achieve these precise tolerances, ensuring structural integrity and client satisfaction.

Proactive Planning with Safety and Sustainability

Adopting a “start with the end in mind” philosophy, the project emphasised comprehensive site setup prior to construction commencement. This included robust safety and environmental controls, all-weather site access, effective drainage systems, and an engineered piling platform designed to ensure safe and efficient delivery under challenging conditions.

Rigorous Quality Control to Meet Exacting Specifications
The project involved the installation of 56 interlocking secant piles, combining hard and soft material techniques, with the following demanding criteria:

• Pile diameter: 750mm
• Verticality tolerance: 1%
• Location accuracy: ±20mm
• Internal diameter: 8.6m
• Pile depth: 18.5m
