The SP1209 Pumping Station is a critical piece of infrastructure designed to support local utility networks by enhancing system capacity and reliability.

Ardee Civil was engaged to deliver end-to-end construction services, with a focus on safety, precision, and technical excellence across deep excavation and complex installation works.

Works delivered include:

• Excavation to a depth of 10 meters has been successfully completed, with carefully maintained batters and strategic backfilling to ensure optimal material support across the pump station footprint.
• Construction of the 10-meter-deep wet well is well underway, with hydrostatic testing currently in progress, marking a key milestone towards commencement of higher-level pipework installation.
• The 7.5 meter inlet maintenance hole and 5 meter gas check manhole have been fully constructed and backfilled, with vacuum testing preparations underway.
• All low-level pipework has been installed using safe excavation practices, including 6 meter deep trench boxes, ensuring strict compliance with quality standards and precise achievement of invert levels.
